FOR BOAT=SEA TO LAND STEP -80S

BASIC - Part 66: And the danger must be growing for the rowers keep on rowing and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing!  But who's steering?

LET A$="MATERIALWORLD": LET A$(9 TO 14)="LIVING": LET I=MATERIALGIRL

BASIC - Part 65: It seems you can't have a sit down for even five minutes without something else happening.  Miriam's coffee is going to go cold in all likelihood.

LET MIRIAM(PAST)=MIRIAM(PRESENT) - GOOD

BASIC - Part 64: So she's not a pirate! Or, at least she thinks she's not.  Oh dear.  Still, maybe now she can get on with her far more interesting former life.

By the way, Happy Crimblemas everybody!  For those sober enough to notice, the comic was a few hours late.  I was kinda 200 miles from the computer and didn't really have a stick long enough to press go.  Anyway, enjoy!

PRINT AT BOAT,C; INVERSE;"PIRATE"

BASIC - Part 63: They say that travel broadens the mind wonderfully.  This, however is taking it a bit far. For anyone not understanding the context of what Miriam is wibbling on about, see issue 40, fight fans!

..THEN GOSUB AWAY

BASIC - Part 62: Justice is metered out, but not to the defendants.  Miriam also realises where her allegiances lie.

IF MIRIAM = CONTEMPT (COURT)...

BASIC - Part 61: Wyndham explains it all, or tries to.  And we all know how successful that usually is.  Fortunately, Miriam is ever ready to wade in.

IF CHR$ "NAME" = LAW THEN STOP

BASIC - Part 60: We've reached 60 and we still have most of our own teeth!  Splendid.  Anyway, following their little escapade, our heroes find themselves on trial - and it's barely even breakfast time yet.

IF UP=1 THEN GOSUB DOWN: RETURN

BASIC - Part 59: Clearly the worst things happen at C++.  Just as well that our old friend is more or less back to normal, although the neighbours aren't impressed.

FOR ENEMY=2 TO 0 STEP-1

BASIC - Part 58: Where we see what a few extra CPU cycles and a bit of neat programming gets you.  This must be the most action packed and (literally) explosive strip so far.  Don't worry, I won't make a habit of it :)

38911 BASIC BYTES FREE READY

BASIC - Part 57:  This is why you need to be careful when overclocking.   The tape loads and, it seems, BASIC is speaking in tongues.  Not only that, but he's about to burn through a hell of a lot of sugar.
